The 1st race Kevin check out on me because I guess I had butterflys :lmfao: . I got the jump (better reaction time), but I blew the shift to 2nd (and third :lmfao: ). After ****ing up the shift to 2nd it was lights out for me.

The 2nd race something was wrong with his launch control, so he was was expecting his rpm to stay out the light, but it did. That's why he was sleeping at the light. Then I believe he missed 3rd, so he shut it down.


Overall it was pretty fun, and more people should of came out.

Thanks for the vid Jermaine. I ran 3 times: 14.6 @ 99, 14.5 at 99, and like 16.xx was exactly what Darryl said, launch control was acting up and my tranny wouldn't go into 3rd (I don't miss gears), so I just cruised.

Darryl does need the driver mod, but practice makes perfect so keep on hitting up the track home skillet.

And oh yeah, no spray for me. Nitrous has been acting up for awhile now (nitrous backfires, crazy explosions etc.) so I don't even mess with it.

Uhh, I don't know what you're talking about but Dare doesn't trap over 94 and the time where I let off because my tranny wasn't letting me into 3rd, I cruised the rest of the track, is what you're talking about then. My 60' are average for FWD street tires 2.2-2.4.

Anyway, the nitrous MAP was tuned by Scotty at Mainstream and ran well on the dyno & a few times on the street, I then stopped using it for awhile, nothing different now but all of a sudden I get nitrous backfires :???:

And also about your "driver mod". I'm not going to lie, I don't have anywhere near the same experience drag racing as say Peter (ISP) but you should stop talking to me like I'm some noob & can't drive. Until I personally see you drive your car down the 1/4 mile then we can talk about this "driver mod"

Dude, trust me when I say the track and the street are totally didn't animals. Unless you're gifted, you're running 16s 1st, then with some practice you may touch the high 14s.

Yeah stock LS w/ an LS transmission won't get you into the 14s, unless your car is guttttttttttted to hell. The GSR tranny is a HUGE upgrade. Had a friend with a semi gutted eg, LS w/ basic bolt ons, and a GSR tranny(open diff.) run mid high 14s on street tires.

haha, well i can attest that commerce isn't always prepped the best, the altitude isn't optimal, and you can run a couple of tenths slower than at say silver dollar or elsewhere.....

mph is a good indicator of power/ weight, but street tires keep a lot of cars at an et that seemingly would be lower.

Anyway, I wish I had been able come out and give you guys a run for your $ - but on the other hand we had a rough weekend and had to put our man's best friend of 14 years to sleep...... :(
