View Full Version : Dpfi to mpfi swap question..

Ok so im doing the dpfi to mpfi swap... my manifold has a gsr throttle body... and i have these 2 vaccum lines that nothing go to...?? what do i do cap em off or what heres a pic of the 2 left over lines i have..

Cap em. Make sure youve got a hose ran to your FPR and one to your firewall map sensor (its correct to use hte firewall map if you still have a obd0 ecu)

gotta question.... where do i run the mapsensor vaccum from off the firewall to?? anywhere on the intake manifold?? theres no where to plug it on the gsr throttle body

run it to either of those ports on the intake manifold

NO ^^^^^ .... take your firewall map sensor off an use the one on the top of the TB !!!!! ...the red circle at the bottom of the picture is for a FPR ... the one in the rear next to the IACV .. cap that one only .

They are all constant vacuum sources, it doesnt make any difference. In fact, on some throttle bodies not all ports are vacuum, they are pre-butterfly valve.

use the one on the throttle body. and ditch the firewall one. both read the same.

They do not read the same. you guys shouldnt spread false information
