the other day I was driving down 285, and accelerated to about 85 or so, when a check engine light came on. When I checked the code, it gave a P1259. During the same day, my oil light flashed for a second(changed my oil the next day). I also changed my intake filter last week, and it was a little loose when I opened the hood, so i tightened the clamp. Any idea what this could be?

vtec system malfunction. make sure the vtec solenoid screen isn't clog. Check your oil level. Check the oil pump (might have gone bad).

it un bolts with a 10mm take it off the side of the head, an it has a gasket/screen built into one...take the gasket out an clean the screen with carb/brake cleaner, an you are good to go
