you have to turn a key in the floor board to get to the top speed. It reduces the wing height, lowers the ride and closes from air vents. I dont think its like a boost controller also.

If i remember right the guy on top gear said it gives access to the extra 501hp; not exactly sure how that works but as much as that car costs i'm sure it's possible.
