so i'm heading home from work, and i take a turn headed toward the freeway, when i approach this little black audi with larger than usual exhaust tips (still looked factory). as i got closer, i noticed the rs6 badge and thought to my self, hmm, maybe i'll have myself a nice kill for the ride home... i get beside him and its old man river! so my hopes of a little fun just flew out the window.... or did they?

well as the light turns green, we both ease into it, unsure of what the other has in mind... i hear him jump! OH YEAH, BABY, ITS ON! i mash the gas in first gear and the half car jump he had diminished quickly! i spin BAD going into second but still managed to stay ahead. once she caught traction, i started pulling consistantly. chirp 3rd and shortly there after shut 'er down. i figure a 3 car length lead was enough, besides, we were coming up on another red light.

the older gentleman eases up beside me again and we exchange thumbs ups. i say to him "nice ride man! those are quicker than i thought!"

he replies, "whatever that thing is, its pretty damn fast too! what is that thing?"

i respond with "its a 2005 gto"

again, he replies, "well that sure seems to be a fine automobile!"

good nights were exchanged and i went on my merry little way with the feeling of "i just whooped an old rich guy in a car he knew nothing about" lol

Good kill Collins. RS6's have some balls but are to heavy for anything serious. IIRC they do high 12's at 110 with the mashing of the gas as the Auto shifts for you, but 100-150 ht/trq gains are possible with exhaust/flash. Honestly from a tuning perspective an A6 2.7T 6 speed has way more potential for way less money.

Honestly from a tuning perspective an A6 2.7T 6 speed has way more potential for way less money.

I remeber looking at S6's and 2.7t 6 Speed A6's.. The 2.7t is just as fast as the s6 who only comes in auto, and the 2.7t has way more potential.. Exactly what you said, and the 2.7t's are really cheap! you can pick one up in the low teens..

Collins may need a lil help with his .85g on the skidpad, but your G and my Cobra both pulled .9g on the skidpad so good luck passing me, or even catching me inbetween those turns :taun:
