...and I break the lug nut key on the last rim. Anyone have any solutions? Unfortunately it's not your run of the mill Advanced or O'Reilly lock set. How do I get this rim off??? It is making me mad as hell.

it happened to me before -- hated that set of locks. the only thing that worked was to tighten down the other 4 nuts with an air socket, then i spent about a half hour f*cking with the thing until it finally came off. never went back to those damn things.

depending on how bad it is, you may have to drill out the lug nut and replace the stud.

a lot of wheel and tire shops will sell you specific lug keys if you ask. bring in one of your lugs.

These are like the ones i had:

if it's anything like what happened to me, the raised ridge inside the key that's supposed to grab the lock actually snapped off completely.

They are McGard locks, not the cheesy ones. They do look kinda like yours GKtib, but not exactly. The key is long like a tuner socket with the key inside. I was told you are not supposed to use an impact tool and they believe that was the cause of the break. Thanks gents for the info

those are similar to the ones that i had on my old escort (they came that way) i had a hell of a time on the side of a road when my tire just started peeling away... but still held air... couldn't get the damn lug off cause it was stripped (the last one.. and it was the lock lug)... so i duck tapped my tire drove it across the median, across the hwy, and onto the exit... (the whole time wondering why my car was draggin ass across the hwy).. then realized i forgot to let the ebrake down!!!!!!!!!!! lol... almost died!!!!!!!!!

buy a socket that is slightly too small fo fit over the lugnut, put the socket on the lugnut at an angle and get the lugnut to grip into the lugnut, Thats how I got all my lugnuts off with out a key

You have four options. Three involves ruining a socket. The other doesn't

First you can try taking a slightly smaller size 12 point socket, hamming the hell out of it onto the lug and try to turn it off slowly.

Second, same concept but freeze it with freon and then put the socket on and let it get hot.

Three, tack weld on a socket that fits over the lug and loosen.

Four, just get a damn reverse thread big socket from Sears or something. It has grooves inside of it to grab on to anything and twist.
