Manual Boost controller with a diesel?

Anyone ever used one of those homemade boost controllers you can make with **** from depot? I wanna lean my motor out and I figured a little more boost would lean it out just a tad... however its for a 6.0 diesel ford motor

Wont pull my trailer. However I have been looking for a bus turbo to run sequential turbo setup.

rex is going with upgrade his turbo in the next few weeks on his f250. his is a 07 though, if u want it let me kno.

6.0? The 03s have the loudest turbos.
