Probably a Stupid Question...

Ok so I drive a 97 Civic DX Hatch 5spd. Now most of the gauges I have looked at on Ebay and such for a civic dx do not have a Tachometer. Is my car wierd or rare cause its a DX with a tach? My overall question is can I buy Gauges for an LX with a tach and use them on my DX cluster?

Just buy an EX cluster.. plug and play. they sale between $40.00 to 100.00 ...
20 minute project.

Well I don't really want to switch clusters so I can keep the mileage right if I ever decide to sell the car.

u can move the speedometer to other clusters

This is just avoiding my question. I was wanting to know if there is a solution as far as reverse glow gauge faces go for my car. If so where can I get them and if not can I use gauges for an LX

I got a 98EX cluster, Just put that in for now, and then when you sell the car replace it with the Other... !

Yes you can use the gauges that have the tach and everything will workout fine....Sorry no one has answered earlier.
