I really didn't appreciate these things all that much until I saw one in person. Beautiful cars, I really just want to drive one. People can hate all they want but that is one badass mode of transportation.

Seen a gtr in person, and I am buying one next year. The problem is if he paid above sticker for it he is dumb, because next year you will be able to get the car much easier. But the color is great and it is a nice car.

They will be cheaper next year, you have people wanting the first and that is fine, but cars do and will have bugs. Also you won't be able to sell that car for what you paid for it.

Do you know how mush the value for one of those have dropped, you can pick a used one with low miles up for 55k to 58k. What is that difference about 34k.

Actually it's common practice for regular cars to sell below MSRP due to manufacturer rebates, dealer incentives, and then dealer further discounting the car to make the deal. Invoice is not what dealer's pay for the car. Now on rare high performance cars like the GTR, it is common practice to jack up the price the first year but Brian is right. Next year they will be much easier to get and you will be able to get them for sticker if not maybe slightly below depending on credit.

Dealerships make profit in selling at msrp wether you know it or not. It is in the msrp price, also dealers make a bulk of money overcharging you in the service area. Z06 I qouted you didn't even have 20k on the clock and it was a 07. I know a guy who also offerd to sell me his 06 with 3k on the clock for 60k and he paid 95k for it. He still has it and will sell it for 60k and it has 3,500 on the clock.

Those dealers aren't marking their cars up so why should nissan dealers. If you want to pay over go ahead, but you lose in the long run. Also just because you have money doesn't matter. I have seen people spend life savings on a car and then loose everything. I have seen people be set for life and loose it all.

Yes the manager can, but i didn't control that. Again, i have learned in the business to always stay on the good side of people ahead of you especially if your making good money. I felt the pay scale was fair and i never got cheated out of money. But here is the real. The only place we really might have gotten 1 too many dollars was used cars. We were always fair on the new cars and that one sti i mentioned, the guy had to really sit down and think about it but he ended taking that one over a black one for 3 grand less.

They couldn't sell a majority of the ones they made because of that markup. S2k weren't marked up at every dealership, I was working for carey paul at the time they came out. Like the guy who posted said that is the owner of the dealerships car and house. People except for a certain few on this site understand that, the markup price that car is sold for goes straight into the owners pocket. Nissan doesn't mark these cars up, they set the price in the msrp and that includes dealers profit. Which means as long as they don't sell way below msrp, they still make money. Anyway so after I stated it was dumb to pay 20k to 40k(at some dealers)over, he decided he want to say some thing smart. So that how this whole off topic **** got started.

As a side note, a photo-shoot is generally used in the fashion industry, where a model poses for a photographer at a studio or out in a public location with professional assistance monitoring the models every move, or flaw she may have that may need correcting. Multiple photos are taken to find the best ones for the required brief. Three pictures does not count as a "photo-shoot."

Everything not in bold i agree with. Everything in bold is pointless. We took about 70 pics, these we kept, but we had the wrong equipment so these pics arent that great.

"Photo shoots" are done by photographers. Photographers don't bring the "wrong equipment" to a "photo shoot."

kids like you is why I think people are so stupid. Just because you have a supercar, or what you call a supercar doen't mean markup. The are new car in demand this year that weren't marked up, from BMW, and Mercedes. Those dealers aren't marking their cars up so why should nissan dealers. If you want to pay over go ahead, but you lose in the long run. Also just because you have money doesn't matter. I have seen people spend life savings on a car and then loose everything. I have seen people be set for life and loose it all.

BMW and Mercedes aren't very smart if they aren't selling their cars for the MAXIMUM value people are willing to pay. Supply and demand curves at work. Let people overpay, its their money. Well, yeah, we had a couple cameras, but we forgot some of the other lenses we needed, the photo shoot was kind of out of nowhere so there wasn't really any planning involved, hence why we didn't have all of our equipment. And we arent professionals, so we dont tote around everything we own on a regular basis.

This is a very LIMITED production less than 3000 units per year being made car. I think it was more towards 1300 cars per year IIRC.

That means the dealers will be able to get WHATEVER THEY WANT FOR THEM. The GTRs will not drop in price by next year because most of them will hold their value for a LONG TIME.

ANd its industry standard that a car loses 20% in value the second it drives off the lot , if its a regular production car.

If you really want one Brian you better have put your deposit down, because reports are that the second generation (that nissan hasnt even ANNOUNCED YET) are rumored to be getting waiting lists already.
