tread wear rating question

ok i know the higher the number the longer it lasts but how long should i expect a tire with a 200 treadwear rating to last? milege wise.

The treadwear number does not automatically translate to a set mileage.

The numbers are different for each tire manufacturer.

That said, my estimate would be ~20k miles.

My 180 tread rears are 50% gone at 7k miles, but the fronts are only 20% worn.

well im plannin on gettin some azenis 615 and im not much of a autocrosser i just love the way the tire looks. anyway i dont wanna buy them and then end up buying another set 1 year later.

Depends how you drive, possibly 20k with minor spiritual driving, the way I drive it would be about 8k miles. And as said above, each tire manufacturer has their own standards, so don't compare tires purely on thread wear/
