lol seriously, they wipe slow compared to my friends car which is another 95 civic. could it be that my current wiper motor is going out or becoming weak? dont wanna change motors if i dont have too... thats alot of work lol

Probably the motor, but you can also check voltage. Everything greased?

I agree with Z28. Check voltage to the motor first. Very easy to do. If it is good then your motor is probably going bad. I mean, things do wear out. Just get another one from a junk yard.

* Clean windshield with water and soap
* Clean again with Windex Glass cleaner (the one with ammonia - dont get this on the paint)
* Rinse with water to remove residue
* Dry and make sure the glass is cool.
* Apply RAIN-X generously.
* Buff out

* Toss out your wipers, you'll never need em as long as you re-apply every 2 weeks or so. Just kidding - you'll still need em if you're stuck in traffic, or driving really slow.

I can drive just fine in a torrential downpour with my wipers off - the stuck kicks major ass.

I'm talking about my DD camry, not the vette. I'd be off the road in a ditch somewhere in heavy rain in the vette.

^thats not going to make them move any faster. Maybe smoother with less friction but the speed is determined by the motor. The motor will over compensate for the debris and grim on the windshield.

This is the truth. I never take my wipers off on INT.

just swap in a new or used (working) windshield wiper motor, save you the hassel of contemplating what to do....not hard at all. Follow the tutorial below: (its for an Integra but I believe they the same for civics too)....

THEN, PUT EVERYTHING BACK IN THE OPPOSITE ORDER...

hope this helps...

Your wiper is having an identity crisis. It doesn't know if its Caucasian or African-American. Fix your paint job and your problems will go away.
