For my hardcore bike riders. Do any of you know what club runs the I-20 run on Sunday nights? Seem to be a predominantly black group of riders. I got passed by at least 25 bikes. All seasoned riders judging by the way they thread the needle. And nearly every one of them had at least a slip-on for mods. ANybodyknow this group? Also is there a group that runs 285? I've seen another set there.

sunday nights....frozen palace on old national highway, college park.......that's where the majority of riders i'ze seen (black) will hang out at first, then they hit the highway. trust me, doing 90 on the highway and have them blow by like your sitting still will make one ease up on the pedal.

vortex is getting lamer and lamer with every joe blow on a bike now and thinks he's Hayden or Rossi.....and then there's the stupid ho's who think they are bikers but only show up to see if there's a guy that will take them home.

pfft....

errr.... those guys have nothing to do with us kneedraggers. it doesn't take a seasoned rider to weave in and out of traffic on the highway, just a moron on a fast bike ;).

i didn't take offense... but those guys won't be caught anywhere on the track or in the mountains, they just go weave in and out of traffic on the interstate and make the rest of us look bad in the eyes of the public and the law.

all depends on how you want to ride.... best all around starter bike that's pretty forgiving but still fast as hell once you learn how to ride it right is the suzuki SV650. but everyone in the world buys a GSXR because it's the cool thing to do ;). honestly for a starter bike, i'd recommend the SV650 first, followed by a slightly older used 600 SS bike like a CBR F4 or F4i.

it only took me the second time around to figure out to be cool I needed a GIXXER! everyone fears the R! as in GSX-R!

two spots i know of the one already mentioned on old national on sundays and there is a spot off of wesley chapel that they meet on saturday's i believe. you can also go tot he varsity on thrusday nihts and see a lot of bikers down there. for your first bike a gsxr is the way to go or a R6. but the most important thing is go to a shop and sit on each bike you are interested in and see if the seat is comfortable to you. no matter how much you like to ride or love your bike after 1 hour your ass will be killing you believe me.

please explain why... i'm interested to know.

uhhhh R6 is way too torquey for someone who has never ridden before and a GSX-R is a good beginner bike because it will make him look cool to all the other riders right? i think the CBR 600RR is awesome to start on because it's got a more even power band but are still very fun to ride, very comfortable and quick once you get used to riding them....and brandon you just have to go sit on them too because some bikes are more comfortable to some people...like the Kawi's are more narrow so they're better for more slim guys
