We are adding a new Outlaw class at the Orsca Outlaw world championship race in October.
4cylinder and Rotary class
Must be a door slammer
Must be a 4 Cylinder or Rotary
Anything else goes!!
$500.00 to win.
Winner take all!!!!
This should be interesting
this is just a simple 4 banger class open class your entry fee is a 45 dollar purchase of a weekend pass . Rules are 4 cylinder and it must be a door car. you must go through safety tech . Seat belts and helment minor safety tech. Pay out is 500 to the fastest 4 banger in the field. Napa auto parts is helping us out in this area. They will have a hospitality tent set up. They will have alot of NAPA reps at the race looking at a future with the ORSCA.

Hey I just moved back here from huntsville! The track is only an 1/8th, and there will be some fast cars there...so I would suggest to only enter if you've got one!

yes maybe some fast cars but the orsca is thinking about adding this class to their race series so even if you dont have a fast car people should enter to help car count the more the more likely they will add the class also the entry fee is your weekend pass to the race so really it doesnt cost anything to enter and maybe win $500 the fastest car doesnt always win plus espn horsepower tv and dragracingonline will be there

as you already know most v8 guys dont like us and because your scared to race in a real race not on the street you just give them more irons in the fire way to grow the sport

wait a minute...are you talking about me or in general? Because I'd venture to say ive probably ran on that particular track more than anybody on here...

no not you in general it just pisses me off to know thats exactly what most v8 guys think of us too scared to race a real race the general opinion is that most imports arent racers that 99% are wuss a$$ show cars or the ones that think they are fast have a fart can and an intake(whopty whoo) and it seems they are correct because that is the same thing most people said on honda-tech dont enter because somebodys car is faster i have been drag racing since i was old enough to drive i like v8s and 4cyl guess what there is always somebody faster so dont be scared and come out and support the class - or just stay at home and turn on your neon

ahhh. Gotcha. I agree w/ your concept, but not everybody sees the logic in spending that much money and being embarresed by running slow times. look at it like this, if just fast imports entered, that would give higher creds for imports.

yes, isp has quite a few fast cars. One hatch in the 9's in the 1/4 and one or two more running low 10's. Is this a turbo class or all motor?

I hate to have to quote myself slojo but you didn't answer my question. Is this 4 cyl. shootout going to have seperate all motor and turbo classes or is it open to any and all 4 cyl and rotaries with no limit on power adders?

no seperate classes it is open i know it seems unfair but they are just seeing what kind of respone this race will get they have napa going to be there to maybe add this class if it has good car count if they do add it to the 06 season it will be good because it gives us somewhere not to far off to race orsca is based out of georgia so they center the races from there and they have an eight race schedule for 06 but have not released what classes they will run that will depend on this race in huntsville which is there year end points race
