this fukk stick hit ME a couple of days ago and i called the feds n **** and he took all of our info down and stuff and he gave me his info on the back of a card...but i got no ticket. now i call his insurance company to get my **** fixed and then they start telling me about a dispute...so basically the guy is denying that it was his fault. now when the fed gave me his info he told me i was good to go and i left now idk if the other guy got the ticket but if he did dosent that mean that he is at fault. wich means that his company is gonna pay. so the insurance company tells me that i gotta get a police report now im sure since i diddnt get a ticket that the police report should be in my favor. but is there any way this could mess me up cuz its basically my word against his.

If the police report say's that other guy was at fault his insurance should have to pay. The report could say nobody was specifically at fault; if that's the case they won't.

damn you serious? but that dont make sense for no one to be at fault? how would we go about gettin the cars fixed just out of pocket?

yes, the police report is the is what it the insurance companies go by. If it doesn't say their insured is at fault, they don't pay. gl!

Go talk to the Police officer who wrote out the citation.

I believe you must have a police report to do anything. Even if you have his info. I'm also not sure you can file a police report now because you have left the scene of the crime. Had a coworker that went on a delivery. Someone ran into his truck and took off. He drove back to the shop and then called the cops. Drove back out there and said there was nothing they could do cause he left the scene of accident just as the other guy did...

give all the info to your insurance company and theyll normally go after the other persons insurance company as long as its not your fault. and when you say fed do you mean you were in an accident with a fed?

Check with the police officer. The samething happen to my mother, and the Police officer testified that my mother wasn't in the wrong. His badge number is on the citation.
