Got a little shaft play but it still builds boost like normal. was hitting 20 psi no problem b4 i took it off. the engine it was on smoked even without the turbo at high rpm so i dnt know if it leaks or not. no buildup on either of the wheels. rebuild kit cost 75.

im not gonna be using it ne time soon, maybe somebody on here needs it. close to $600 new, u can have this piece for $200. might consider trades and cash depending on whatchew got. HOLLER!

dnt know. just throwing it out there if somebody needs/wants it but dnt have all the cash. need engine parts for b16 and center console (black) for 96 teg.

so your saying this is a smaller turbo?i can go bigger?
i love turbos but dont know what all the trim and different options are.
and im still trying to find out whats best for my type-s.

its a medium size turbo that wont give u full boost at 2k but wont wait til 7k to kick in. good to like 450hp i think garrett rates it.

ur manifold and tune plays a big part on when ur boost kicks n too.

dayum! u can get this turbo or whatever one u decide on and piece everthing together one at a time. turbo, mani, bov, wastegate...etc ive done 3 or 4 kits like that bc i couldnt hold my money til it got to $3000. but i didnt want crappy parts.

so pretty much piecing together is just as reliable than a full kit at once.

ok man, then also how do i fit pieces together and know what will fit where

and where do i get the piping?

u have to get a manidold (bought or made) with the same flange as ur turbo (t3 or t4). buy piping or get mainstream to make u some. wastegate (if u get an external wastegate turbo) has to match flange on manifold. 2 bolt wastegates are most popular, they r usually 38mm.

is this an external wastegate turbo?
and wouldnt the flange on the manifold be t3/t4? so then the wastegate would be t3/t4.....right?

they can do about 550BHP. i have mine is making 427whp, at 18. these turbos max about 25 or 26 psi. maxxed my 750RCs out... going for 1000cc. oh an thats on low compression, running a little rich for those hot summer days:crazy: full boost for mine is at 5200 or so. with a large intercooler and piping etc.
