i listen to rap, hip-hop, r&b, classical, alternative, hardcore, metal, grindcore, generic rock, techno/trance, indie, post-rock, ambient, electronic, emo, folk, acoustic, math rock, pop, punk, pop-punk, jazz, screamo, shoegaze, trip-hop, lo-fi, and whatever else. Completely serious, I listen to all of those frequently. Notice the omission of country.
favorite band? lol... no such thing. my itunes library is 15,000+ songs deep, to choose one artist would be impossible.

I love hip-hop, R&B, soul, and some blues. A couple of rock songs sprinkled in along with a couple of techno joints. WTF is black metal? I've heard of metal, heavy metal, and i think death metal.

I deffinetly agree. I have all types of music... Even classical.
I have close to 20,000+ songs BUT if I had to pick something out I would have to say 80's punk/ska punk. Bands like Skankin pickle, Operation Ivey and Agent Orange. I do like 80's and EARLY 90's but not so much later 90's or current stuff.
