New and need help!!! Just got car STOLEN!!!

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and I an currently staying with my cousin in Suwanee. Someone recommened this forum to me, but since my car got stolen!!! I am asking for any kind help that forum members would be willing to provide.

It was a black 97 ek civic hatch with a 99-00 front end conversion with yellow fogs and front lip. The headlights aren't aligned on both sides with the fenders, so thats a good sign that it is probably my car! Also it was lowered rolling on fat fives and it had led tails. And the paint job is pretty fresh as well.

It was stolen Thursay, July 31 at the Mall of Georgia between 10:30 am and 4 pm.

The sad thing is I just bought the car about a month ago from a guy in norcross. I can't believe the car got stolen in broad daylight at the Mall of Georgia!


I'm just asking members if they could please just keep an eye out and let me know if they see. I would greatly appreciate it, and I hope to make some new friends here!

Damn. Where at the mall were you parked? I hate that car theft is getting up here now. I know its everywhere, but it has just been recently with all the break ins around the mall. I never took any Honda that I owned down near discover mills or gwinnett place, but I wasnt scared taking a Honda to MOG. Hell, I work up there, never crossed my mind not to take my car up there.

Sorry for the loss. Ill keep my eyes out. Contact "slowboy" on here. His red hatch was stolen from the mall and recovered in an apartment complex by the PD. Hit him up, find out which complex it was, and go looking.

i mean, i KNOW if i were somewhere & i saw a car i had just sold & just happened to have the keys, the thought would have crossed my mind - "haha theres my car & i have the keys!!" i mean, not everyone is a lying *******, but you never know.

not to mention it got stolen in broad daylight -- theres nothing suspicious about a guy walking up to a car, opening it with a key & driving away.

UPDATE!!

Good news:
Well the car was found in an impound lot in Lilburn. Apparently it was there since Friday.

Bad news:

Car has been stripped of Hood, Bumper, Headlights, Fenders, Driver side door, wheelss, side skirts, radio and speakers and various other interior parts. They even took the freakin windshield wipers...

Engine is still there, but the ecu is gone.

Sigh... unbelievable. I have only been in the area for about a month, and never expected this, since I used to live in Philadelphia and never had my car stolen. But then again I didn't drive one of the most stolen cars in the world.... Oh well I guess I gotta start looking for parts....

No its a different wheel. The theives took all of my wheels, and just put this one blue wheel on and the rest of the wheels are just donuts.

Nope, only liability... I'm only 21 and I paid 3200 for the car and with the insurance premium I was going to pay for full coverage it wasn't worth it.

I see this all the time, and personally I dont know what to think about it. Everyone says that, but ALOT of people it is their only means of transportation, and when you are young you like to go to the mall and movies sometimes. Are you supposed to rent a car to do this? Or ride a bicycle?

I understand both sides, cars are most often stolen at malls and movies, no doubt. Its just a sad day when we cannot take our cars out to enjoy leisure activities because they will most likely not be there when you come back out.

i peiced mine back together and it looks 100xxxx than before..fresh paint..all factory options and of course a Python 990 2 way Alarm with Remote Start...

I have a passenger side fender (96-98) I will give you. I think I have an Instrument cluster if you need one also. I will look around though. Just Pm if you need it.
