The rails are the same? are you sure the mounting locations on the floor are the same? on my del Sol you couldn't mount pass. side sliders/brackets on the driver's side, so if the rails on the seats are the same that may be your problem... you may have 2 driver's side rails.

There stock seats for the Honda Prelude. I mean they're the same kind of rails the stock ones had. My stock ones the rails were bent and the passenger seat bottom came loose that's why I had to replace but for some the new one is not bolting right. AHIOGAWGNAGAIO@#GNAG

ya seats can be a pain.i took out my factory leather ones for a few months for racing seats and those brackets of course didnt fit aftermarket so i was only running 2 bolts in both of them.unsafe so i took them out and sold them and put my factory ones back in, and even those took me FOREVER to get back in?! someone told me to get A front bolt in,then A back bolt kinda cross bolt it like wheel lugs. but a lot of tuggin and pullin

bolt in the side closest to he center console, then lean on the side closest to the door until it finally gives in and admits defeat.

or just don't bolt it down and call it a JDM ejector seat.

Bolt in the rear mount thats closest to the console and then mess around with the seat adjuster and see if it will line up correctly. Dunno if it will work, but its worth a try.
