thanks to whoever said buy WM stock the other day. I went online and put what few dollars I had (only enough for 12 shares) on that, and the stock has went up about a dollar since my purchase. Wish I had enough cash to buy more, but alas, right now I don't. I did learn to not buy unless I have at least 500ish bucks, tho, cause that 13 dollar purchase commission is stupid...

This might be a stupid question, but what website did you use to purchase from?

Nice! If I wasn't paying off stuff at the moment I would have been all over that. Its going to increase more, just sit back and enjoy!

I'm hoping to shell about 500 more bucks at the least in it if i can come up with it...the wife isn't all over a large deposit from each check into e-trade, but i did get 5 bucks per check outta her..it'll take a while to build up, but i can put any money i win from bike races and such in there too...i really want some ford and gm as well...they're gonna come back, and when they do it'll cash in!

Dont bother with WM if you want to put more cash down. Look into otehr financials right now that are going better.

I made a killing today off of Citigroup, which is still cheap at just under $20.00 a share, and JP Morgan who is performing VERY well over the last month. Bank of America is doing extremely well right now too.

If you want to get away from financials you can also look into boing as it has been performing well, but it is a bit on the expensive side of a beginner with limited funds.

my financials are taking a beating today. Especially true of JP Morgan.

Airlines should be picking up some steam with lowering oil prices.

I will have to wait and see on that one. Falling oil prices are good, but I think they need to drop another $25 before we can start getting optimistic again.

Well the idea is that you buy some now, and then around the time they are going to announce 3Q results you sell. In theory the stock should run up some in the days before the results because of better numbers due to cheaper gas.

I just see the stock prices being basicly stagnanat at least in the short term.
