Yep I was....The dish isn't really that much, 4.5" visible lip, 5.5" True front lip (1" is covered by the face). I could've get 6" visible lip, but that won't clear the 15" BBK :D

Not Iforged. ;) Thanks, tires will be Dunlop Sportmaxx. I've had couple others and I like them the best.

thanks bro. I may run 245-35F and 285-30R. These are very aggressive, so I may have to stretch a bit, otherwise, I'd be rubbin like hail...And my fenders are already trimmed and bent flat to the wall.

Not yet bro, car needs to go back to Sprayglo for some cleanup work before getting these puppies on ;)

Not quite. I was looking into 360Forged, but the price of this size would be 8K, no tires. Too much money. I'm not there yet.

They can do any paint, but the prices will be a lot more, so I opt for the simple. But I think these would match my new BBK a lot better. :)

I wanted the Anodized Titanium Black like FISKE, but they can't anodize and none of the places in GA I found can do that, so that option is out the door.

Wait, so you have a 12" wide rear wheel and you're only going to run that size of tire?

Am I missing something here?

Whats the off set? I had 285/30's on my 10" wheels and though they are the biggest tire I would have gone with, I dont know how they would look with an additional inch on each side. If you can fit it, I would go with a wider tire. At least 295....but if they wont fit, they wont fit...

Ok, but still, why the small tire? Throw some 295, 305, or 315's on that thing.

Don't give me that 'ish about scrubbin either...

Derek, actually, I had a typo, 285-30 in the rear. I've seen people stretched other tires, much worse. This is a slight stretch :)

And yes, IP37 clarified it, the spec's width is 11, the actually with rolled off lip is 12". 285-30 would be fine, but no protection of course. I'm living on the edge.

Then again, my moto is: If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space:

And I've been there before with the brake clearance and ultra flush:

Dude, I'm not hating by any means, but why are you going for the stretched look?

I'd consider protecting my investment by protecting the lips on those wheels. But, notice the use of "I'd."

LOL @ your comment about living on the edge (not in a good way either).

^It'd be looking similar to this, would it be that bad for a lil stretch?

FYI - I'm not going for the stretch look. I'd only stretch it slightly for it to fit nicely under the rears. It's a means to achieve the perfect fitment, not because of look.

Btw, my definition of stretch may be different than people. I call this stretch, while others may call it perfect sizing.

Fair enough buddy...it's your ride and it seems like you have your mind made up. :)

I'd personally throw a bigger tire on there, but either way I still think it will look great.

Best of luck.

thats not bad. Its borderline for me though. That is the ABSOLUTE smallest width I would go.

BTW, whoever that is has 3 tires going in 1 direction and 1 in the other....fail...

LOL...everyone worrying about stretch. Im pretty sure that EXTRA tire protecting your sidewall going from a 285/30 to say a 305/30 is NOT going to help if you nail anything. Lets be honest, the sidewall height is going to be 6mm larger, and it might not expose the lip of the wheel. If you are rolling around on $5k+ wheels, you are most likely going to be paying attention to the road anyway.

Ill be running 235 on my next 9.5s anyway :tongue1:
