so i managed to luck out last year and got my car passed at a jiffy lube where id previously worked. i had to pay a little, but thats kinda expected. im months overdue for this year and need the car passed. can anyone make some good suggestions?

i dont know the rules on asking these kinds of questions but if it needs to be strictly PM, please pm me.

most people here wont help you do something like that.
but if it wont pass cuz its been OBD converted then probably have to pull the large injectors, chipped ecu and take the spring out of the wastegate and run factory ecu and injectors just for that 10min period..big hassle but was expected when turboing a car.

thats why i went the piggy back way to keep my car OBD2 to pass emissions..
but good luck to ya.

hmm thats not a bad idea. i still have the oem injectors, and the rest seems pretty easy. only think is with no 02 sensors, ill probably throw a bunch of codes and not pass anyway

Registar your car in Lumpkin county? :)

That or call one of the local performance shops and ask them. They might tell you if you go talk to them in person?

well, im still screwed... the cars ready to go, and im still not legally registered...

... im kinda at a loss for where to take it, and all my leads have turned up negative. if anyone has advice, what with the economy as bad as it is right now, and me willing to pay for the info/test, id appreciate a pm.

yea.. i know...

i knew the right person, and now that person is MIA, and my leads have turned up cold. im just kinda trying to get some help in any way i can at this point, and right now, this is one of my last places to try and get some kinda info...

but thanks, i know its a pretty shitty situation and definately not the best place to look for answers at this point.

You havent given enough info about your car. If its OBD I then passing will be easy but if its OBD II then you need to trick your ECU into not throwing codes. You can use O2 simulators, egr simulators etc to pass OBD II emissions

Yeah, if he is OBD I he just needs to adjust some things to get the car running a little cleaner.
