i dont think anything about hiding mods, it's street racing and I don't care. I have "all mighty cams", but it does almost nothing for me horsepower wise other than shift my power band up top and I don't hide it because that's just funny. I did not spend $1200 to go faster in a straight line, but come out of a corner with my power band where I want it. Everyone thinks "oh it has cams" yet is a completely stock 3.2 obd1 with a tune and 150k.
Ask yourself why someone who's done over 20k on tracks would care about doing a dig pull in a road racing car with 600lb rear springs and a cage where it's illegal. Also, several of my highschool friends had S2000's, and I had raced one of them over 15 times in a row and all the way back from SDR for shats...It's not hard to take one from 4th as my gearing is very short. that isn't even close to similar times to a stock goat.

The 04 with the weaker ls1's have dipped into the 13.3-.13.4 range bone stock. they will trap 104-106 all day long

There have been many 05-06 GTO's break the 12's stock... including mine.
And they will trap 107-109 all day long in stock trim.

The older 350z's aren't even coming close to that. 100-102 seems to be the norm in stock trim..... impressive for a v6 MAYBE..... but not for the price of the car.

That was two months ago. It is awaiting paint and a new tranny mount, few new suspension components etc. Can't wait till I put it on the scales at quik trip and it says 3050 dry.

I looked at them heavily before buying the goat... along with the z51 c6's.

An extra 40-75 on the payment wouldn't have been bad I just really didn't want a Vette.

The goat drove better, felt more solid. Interior is twice as nice in the goat, not to mention the seats and driving position. Plus I liked the idea of a damn near 4000lb cruiser car being able to surprise and crack off in the ass of some cars that should be faster... and I've had a smile on my face since day one because of that.

What amazes me if you can get a c6 z06 now for about 50k with LOW miles. If you dropped 10k on that and financed it the payments wouldn't be that bad at all.

I personally prefer the C5 Z06 over the C6 from a track car standpoint. The C6 is more catered to the road, i.e. comfort, styling, etc..

C5 Z's are in the low 20k's now...great for a track car:D

Don't get me wrong I think it'd be badass to have a C6 Z, and the payments wouldn't be bad if you drop 10k. But that's 10k that I can invest into work, future business', etc...delayed gratification>instant gratification.

the 350z cannot do a burn out with out cutting a sensor. once you hit the brakes it cuts the throttle. they were great in twistiesand wore great, i had them on the z for 40k plus miles

It takes all of 5 minutes to disconnect the ABS sensor in the car which will allow the 350z's to do a burnout.

She is just looking for excuses.

Run from a dig, and neither of you heat the tires... problem solved.

All I do on street tires is spin them over one time to clean them off... it benefits a hard radial 0 to do a heavy burnout.
