discuss who you think both McCain and Obama's VP's will be...

i think that the VP's might actually be the ones who decide who's gonna be the president.

lets keep this to people who can actually vote, so dont post in here if you dont know sh*t or are not old enough (this means you autumn)

I think McCain should pick Huckabee and they run on the Fair Tax along with McCain's views on the war.

Huckabee would not be good at all.

Mitt Romney is the man for McCain, he is much more conservative and has a younger fresh look to him. Plus McCain is often bashed for avoiding talks about the economic status of our country. That is Romney's biggest strong point, he is a business owner himself and is very familiar with the workings of the economy.

Romney would fill in all of McCain's weak spots.

i'd first pick huckabee but romney will do if i had no other choice. i have no problems with either of them its simply a personal choice between the 2.

i agree that Romney would be a good candidate when it comes to the economy, but the economy will fix itself over time.

I actually like Sarah Palin, the Gov of Alaska. She would solidify the women vote and the younger vote along with the conservative vote. McCain is getting killed by Obama with women under 40 and any boost there may be what puts him over the top.

I think Obama should pick governor Tim Kaine from Virginia. He would help bring in the independent vote that helped him win the election in the Republican state of Virginia. If not him thank I think he only has three real options Sen Joe Biden, Sen Hillary Clinton (I am praying that its not) or my close second choice that I hope gets the nod Gov. Bill Richardson, who would help dearly bring in the latino vote.

agreed

but it will just put confidence in voters who think he doesn't know about the economy, regardless of the fact what little role he plays...

I would like to see McCain pick Jindal but he has pulled himself out of the running. Another interesting choice would be Lieberman, that would really solidify the ticket as a moderate one and hopefully get a high percentage of independents and moderate Democrats. I know that people say he needs to get very conservative VP to make up for his moderate voting record but i just dont think its necessary because we all know the hard right, no mater how much complaining they do, will vote and the will vote for McCain. With all that being said I think he will pick Mitt Romney and it will help the ticket because of his strong economic background.
