so my del sol's underdrive or harmonic pulley has seemed to seen better days! i was driving home on I-185 north when the battery light came on and i heard a slight knocking sound. i then realized that the power steering was not working nor the a/c. no worries about the a/c, it worked when i bought it but stopped working about 30 minutes after i signed the bill of sale and drove about 30 miles in the opposite direction of the prior owner. any who, i notice that the crank pulley is sitting still after i popped the hood. after i removed the pulley i found out that the key had literally disapeared! or atleast whatever was wedged into the slot. it also had chipped off one side of the crankshaft's groove.

now that your on my level, i believe a new pulley is all i need and an actual key. a new key is not a problem, but trying to find out if any d series pulley will work for my car is.

94 del sol si with a swapped in D15B7.

the question at hand, will any d series pulley, aftermarket, fit my D15 or do i need a D15 pulley?

get a pulley and key off the same motor at a junk yard it would prob cost you like 10 bucks.

yeah thought about that but since i live in columbus, 2.5 hours south on HPC! a $10 part would be rediculous drive. eBay for $40 sounds good enough, the one i found says D16 Si VTEC. is that gunna work for my motor?
