Rev match downshifting and triple footing while braking are easier in my GTO than the camaro due to the pedal layout. However I can do both just as well.

1st vid the 2 --> 3 was shorted (rpms) by a few rpms. 1 --> 2 was almost perfect, and 3 --> 4 was PERFECT. Altho no1 needs the "lesson", I will say the vids are kool.

The stock tack lags in first and second gear.

6k at full acceleration in second gear is really about 6300-6400.... hence why it seems like its shorted.


Third gear is also a much better gear to run out than second.

I have an autometer monster tach *ricer mod* with a shift light now. It's amazingly accurate compared to the POS stocker.

Even the no-english mexican ricers with 75lb whale-tail spoilers can power shift. I would really be impressed if Thacker could no-clutch up without grinding while pulling that hard. Have only met a few who could do it, and they got paid quite a bit of money for that talent.

you just wait for the right speed to shift gears let go of the gas and shift and revv (if needed) your car to get the motor and tranny to the same speed.
dont force it or you will be doing a ****load of repairs.

I can't do that, my car has no rev limiter, and my synchros lock me out sometiems (the car is 25 years old so that's why). If I couldn't get in gear and the engine spirals into 10K RPM too quickly(not hard at all to do with a rotary) the clutch/flywheel could fly apart and cut my foot off. I' do it if I had the limiter and enough money to buy more transmission gear. Nice video, but yeah, we know what a power shift is.
