I'm currently working on building up my portfolio and I'm playing with some concepts.

my only critique is minor - the aliasing around that plane is kinda rough, and i dont feel like the font you used for resurrection fits quite right... also, on the left side, right below the front wheel of the car (charger?) work on blending the 2 sky tones a little better, it stands out to me.

all in all though, looks great :goodjob:

- Put a space between Resurrection and the title
- Don't use babelfish for Italian translations or any other language, because it translates literally and not figuratively (IE it will literally translate "the" "dead" "can" "only" etc... and the figurative meaning is lost)
- Why do you even have Italian on there in the first place?
- I think it would look better set up as a root 3 layout instead of a root 2/4 split, but I'm a fan of lower and longer. Possibly even stretch it to a root 5

All other GTA titles have separation between the logo and version, thought I'd mix it up a bit.
Babelfish! Kinda wanted to put Italian in there for the hell of it (give it a mobster feel). All your bases are belong to us!
The layout is based on a horizontal 8x10 and using imagery I garnished in no more than two hours. It's not meant to be an online set up.

If it was GTA VII Sopranos edition, then the mobster feel would make sense... but if you're going with the resurrection/fighting the dead kinda theme, then there's no reason for Italian.

There's a reason all the other ones have seperation between the logo and title. ;) With GTA, their trademark is that logo. That's why it always stands so boldly in their imagery, with "Vice City" or "San Andreas" or whatever in a smaller and different font... the point is that the game belongs to the GTA family. To make it identifiable as GTA, stick with their current design language. That's all "branding" is, afterall... sticking with a design and running with it... BMW doesn't change their dual halo headlights for a reason. :goodjob:

Remove the Italian and chop it down to 5x8 and I think you'll like it better. :)

and oh yeah... don't use photoshop for text. Use photoshop to layout the graphics if you must, but then export them to illustrator for text.

There is no (LOCATION) cuz I'm braindead today and can't think of anything good.

Changed it to 8x5 proportions, took out the bad Italian and simplified the headline. Added a chic with a gun and evened everything out a bit.

you can make the girl look more rendered with the right filters and effects.... and I would remove the car going sideways and have one coming straight out with the smoke behind...

But I like this one more than the other one. :D

Well, I'm done playing around with this concept. It's been a pretty interesting little exercise. Probably won't be going into the portfolio, but who knows.
