illegal weapon, shooting it when he was drunk, shooting it in a residential area for no reason, yea 6 years sounds about right.

I agree, your yard, you pay the bills! You should be allowed do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt anyone else around you...... He didn't hurt anyone but the lawn mower, so why should he get 6yrs and 3months in prison if convicted.

there are laws for a reason.

one big one being not allowed to fire a firearm while intoxicated.

he agrees with me. That is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. there is no reason you should get 6yrs for something so dumb. maybe an anger managment class...

actually i dont believe you can get a dui on your own property because you arent on the road.

i believe the police cant get you for that, i may be wrong though

It's the short barreled shotgun/rifle that got him...that's a felony (can get a federal conviction, actually).

Had it been a legal weapon, it wouldn't have been so bad.
