This weeks IA photography challenge will be....

"it WAS a necessity"

the subject of your photo must be something that used to be important to someones daily activity but has been replaced by something else a long time ago.

this can be a old train, old school bicycle, a fork from the 1950s, a radio that came out back in the day before TV existed, ect....anything that did its job a long time ago and was replaced and is no longer used for its original purpose.

all entries are to be PM'd to me before sunday 8/3/08 at 7PM.

please do not post your photos in this thread.

you can watermark, add borders and/or edit your photo in anyway you want.

you must take the photo after this thread was posted.

the SUBJECT of your photo must go with this weeks IA challenge.

oh no i meant so many good photographers. i have got 1 photo already...but the smart thing to do is wait till sunday afternoon

Im thinkin about this watermark thing, and i kinda object to it. Everyone who uses a watermark on here usually is pretty well known for their pictures. If Nemesis or changaroo put their watermarks on there, then everyone will know its them and some will vote for those pics just because its them. you know what i mean?

you are blind if you cant tell a changaroo photo is a changaroo photo without a water mark.

same thing with Nemesis, my photos, nerds rock, Khris H aka ej allmota and even DO

so many people on here have such different styles of photography that not watermarking a photo isnt gonna keep people from knowing who took it.

i can definitely tell between photographers..

editing habits, positions, and everything are easy to depict throughout IA photographers..

I'll enter when I get my own DSLR.
