LTJ bukem's whole earth album
LTJ Bukem - deserted vaults
LTJ BUkem - Journey Inwards
LTJ Bukem - Moodswings
LTJ Bukem - Horizons
LTJ Bukem - Cosmic Interludes
His songs are very hard to download, if you want to listen to him I guess go to project playlist, or myspace music.
LTJ Bukem isn't your normal trance, hes more of a drum&bass progressive ambiance, Just check him out, he is REALLY popular in europe but not so much in the US.
What have you been up to mcdoogle?

I'm sure the reason why you're saying this is because you think 'techno' was made for homosexuals. And you're afraid of what people will think of you if you were to type some artists and claim to like techno. I like it. And there are some pretty awesome songs out there that would get you in the mood for anything.
Let me check if I can find some good songs.
Update: Check out some of DJ Micro and some of Scooter's songs. They're kool.

no, I just associate techno with raves and teenagers rolling their balls off. The only time I ever liked techno was when I was rolling, other than that I hated it. Now that I am grown up and would never roll again, I wold never listen to techno again. To me, all techno sounds the same, no matter what genre :2cents:

what type of trance are you looking for?there's deep or dark or desert or ambient and so on.it also depends on the speed/stlye you looking for from the dj.someone who creates a picture,a mood,or a feeling?ltj is a great one and his stuff is very hard to find.tiesto is another great one,but has sort of become more commercialized lately with the endorsment of armani among many others.ferry corsten, atb, gabriel and dressden, paul van dyk,van buuren,bt,way out west, rabbitt in the moon, monk, etc.these are some more common ones that are easier to find

Honestly more looking for stuff similar to like BT - vocal trance I suppose, but I want varying beats and rythms in the song ( take Never Gonna Come Back Down by BT for instance )

never gonna come back down has a sound similar to thatof paul oaknenfold's ready, steady go and starry eyed surprise.if that is what you are looking for then you really need to look into like john digweed, sasha, chemical brothers, and so on.i hate paul oakenfold because think he is an over-hyped and outplayed "dj",if you can call him that.he did do some mixes of radiohead music that you should check out.stuff like iron lung and motion.check those artists out along with atb for sure and let me know if you need anymore artists to reccommend!!

john digweed and sasha are very good.
But like i said before, ltj bukem is my fav. But I guess he would be in a totally different catagory as sasha/digweed/oakenfold.

Ian Van Dahl has some great vocal trance, and you need to check out BT's European album of Movement in Still Life, as well as his Emotional Technology and ESCM.
A REALLY good song by Ian Van Dahl is "State of Mind". Also look up "Rollercoaster".
And one more... Greencourt's "Silent Heart" (here is the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDv7x1RsGiI)
