Hey Guys-

For those who followed along in my Members thread about my turbo build....well its completed and tuned now. So for those who need a little catch up or if you just want to brush up on what you missed here are some pics.

ha, didnt even open it since it was already boosting way too much! haha. should yeild like 20-30whp and allow me to boost even sooner!! yay. ill do that when i get a new MAP sensor

We'll he is guestimating considering when he does do that his motor will be built to handle the boost+spray+meth inj. with the exahaust open and higher boost 30hp is easily gained with a proper tune. Then meth and spray= a nasty concoction...but if done right it'll be the sickness

nice #'s. looks like vtec is coming in around 5.3k. did you try w/ vtec coming in around 4.5k-4.7k? most h22's can benefit from a lower vtec than that...not always though.

yeah VTEC comin in earlier could give me more mid range power. because right now at the butt end of my powerband im nearly loosing traction. it jumps a tid bit very quickly. i think thats noticable on the dyno graph

just picked up a Sparco Lap 5 350mm wheel, NRG shorty hub, and NRG 2.5 quick release. should finish up my interior, as you can see in these pics, I need my steering wheel. should be here later in the week.

Im not too concerned about the numbers being made now. Boosting this motor was sort of a joke. It shouldnt have been done. I will be making more suitable numbers with a built motor. My turbo isn't even close to its efficiency.

Built Motor (X-Mas)

Benson Sleeves (Laskey Racing)
9.5:1 CP Pistons
Pauter Rods
Polished and Balanced Crank
etc...
Maybe some headwork? Ported and Polished might be a good idea

What Im looking for is something like 15psi (350-400whp) and 22psi (450-500whp)

stock bore yes. no need to thin out clylinder walls. id rather boost more safely. 87mm bore.

accordpride: you keep saying i have a similar build than you. how come you havent mentioned anything in paticular or have anything to show for? do you have a thread?

havent had the chance to make a thread and i really dont have anything to show right now because the block is not done being sleeved, heads not back from being port and polished, body isnt done bein painted so all i really have is a closet of parts right now
the only real difference i see in our builds is the producers of the parts
im going with wiesco pistons, eagle rods, and different valve train items
im with you on the stock bore theory but i just got a hook up on 87's so thats what im going with
only other big difference i see is the weight of the car and you have nitrous

heres some good advice take your car to ed at balanced performance and make some real numbers when you tune again on your built block.
