SALVAGED TITLE

Ok, about 3 months ago, i bought a EG Hatch from a guy the i know. So i bought the car. But before i bought it, i asked him if the title was CLEAN. He said it was, but before selling it to me he said someone man ran into him from behind. The damage was in the Tail Gate or Hatch and the damage wasnt too big.

Turns out to be salvaged title. He never said it was till he give me the title. so i was like well just give me my money and u can take the car, and he said that he had already spended the money. i talked to a guy that works with me and said it was llegal to sell a salvage title car.

So now what should i do, get a lawer or what?? The guy ripped me off with $2300 and i borrow $600 of it.

AND i cant even drive the car and its been sitting for 2 months HELP ANYONE

Its not illegal to sell a car with a salvage title, its illegal not to disclose it to the buyer.

BTW do your research, the car can be registered again.

I already did, the only person that can register the car is the owned. i cant even switch the title to my name. and i havent seen the guy and get in cintact with him.

yea theres millions of car for sale with a Salvage Title.
its not illegal . dude u got the title look at the address and ****.

should've carfax'd before u got it.. even though it wont tell you everything it's tell you about the title at least.. and yea.. u got the title... look that bisch up

or Re-sell it u can get 2k eaily for a EG with a salvage title.x

Should have looked before you paid him,now you have to get the car inspected by the state!!!

He didnt have the title when i bought it, but since i knew him thoughtout my friend i didnt think he ever do that.

I'm sorry to hear that, some people are just plain insidious. You can't trust anyone in this world, and life isn't fair.

does it have a slavage title or a salvage rebuilt title... there is a difference, if its just a salvage title, then your basically ****ed cuse you then need the state to check it to get a rebuilt title, and in order to do that, you must have a salvage rebuilders liscense, which is hard to get. but if it has a rebuilt title, then your fine... go title the ***** and drive it. but now if it has a CD title where its a certificate of destruction, then you can take legal actions cuse i dont believe that you can sell a car with a cd.

but as for selling a car with a salvage title, your basically screwed. my civic that i just sold had a salvage rebuilt title.
