I used to stay in Colorado Springs. Did you just so happen to stop by Cave of the Winds or get a tour to go the underground base (NORAD)? I missed that place at times but they weren't paying enough for certified techs at the time I was out there. I was out there for 2 years. Glad you had a good time.

we went to the cave of the winds but we got there right as the cave closed, and we didnt get a chance to go back the next day. I saw pics of inside NORAD and i have some pics of it from far away, but i heard after 9/11 you couldnt take tours anymore.

That WalMart looks like the one right in Woodland Park...am I correct?

I remember driving up Pike's Peak this past Novemeber and it was seriously cold as balls with ice/snow EVERYWHERE. Was a really interesting drive down to say the least...

I love Colorado...hope to join my dad out there one day. He can sit on his front porch and look at Pikes Peak...certainly a gorgeous state.

Thanks for sharing man...looks like you had a blast!
