I'm kind of in a predicament where I need someone to help me out with my car without an auto shop destroying my funds.

If anyone is in the Athens area willing to help I will pay cash + buy you dinner for tonight, or breakfast tomorrow morning if you're able to help me start my car (not by push-start or jumping). Or just give me some advice on what I should do by replying to this thread.

I put a thread in general tech but I figure I could get more traffic here:
http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=185380

PLEASE MODS DON'T DELETE!! I need to get this solved!

In return I give you a funny:

Paypal you some gas $$?

lol the way it's looking I'm most likely gonna have to walk to work and probably have it towed to a shop who'll take my manhood as payment

When you put the key in does ANYTHING come on? If not check the master fuse for the car, I blew mine once when I had the civic. A $4 part

want to know the cheating way to fix it???

Find out which wire is the starter wire coming from your ignition switch under the column. Trace it back far enough to were you can run a wire from the ignition switch to the hot on the starter. Its an easy quick fix that will take about 5 minutes and about 4 feet of wire. LMK when it works and i accept paypal!

what was it?

lol it ended up being the battery terminal.

my buddy took off the battery cables to see if my car would run off the alternator and while taking one off it broke

$2 and a new terminal later problem was fixed

didn't seem like the terminal was that corroded because I had cleaned them off with baking soda + water not too long ago but I guess it can only go so far
