Ok guys heres the deal I have a 97 civic 5 spd with a d16y7 on it
I recently put a new tranny axles clutch and flywheel in.
The problem im having is this little clicking noise.:2up:
It sounds like it is coming from like the axle on the drivers side.
It happens when i accelerate i do not hear it after i get over like 10 mph only below. Im thinking the cv joints but they are BRAND NEW axles idk.
someone help please :goodjob: :goodjob:

def sounds like a CV joint, even though they are new, its still possible. Does it click while turning too?

Maybe it's all the air that is being forced out by that kick ass hood mod.

Carbon_Crash is correct. Even if they are brand new, they can still make noise. Replace ur axle(s) first. Possible wheel bearing but they generally make clicking noises. Call CV Source. We get ALL of our axles from them.

thanks anthony checked the axle its fuine must resort to wheel bearing

like i said, the wheel bearing makes a groaning noise. Hell, you might have a nail in your tire that could be making a faint clicking noise.

maybe you have a small exhaust leak? small leaks click...and you wouldn't be able to hear it once you got going because road noise would be too loud...I dunno just a thought

did you think it could be ur valves they most likely need to be adjusted. u have to adjust them after u put on some mileage

Might be the right hand side header bolt on the fourth one down from the top, they pop lose on those motors and click. Or your proportioning center nut?

weird... i definitely woulda thought that sounds like a cv axle, but i guess not. i'd try seeing if your valves need adjusting?
