you can rent guns, but if you're gonna go frequently you'd be better off buying a gun plus once you get the feel of it, you can actually shoot since you know how it performs. i've only went to the range few times, but lost interest...it's a waste of money for students IMO. I can get a full tank of gas and stoney river steak for dinner one for dine-in and another to-go for the fun 30 minute shooting...

Hey Julio,

Dan and I love to go to the shooting range. We should go sometime. We have a couple of good guns.

Nice...A good rule is do bout 3 shots, adjust sight, 3 more then use a clean sheet (or jus color the ones you use to zero in) to see just exactly how accurate you are. its deff a strees relief, esp during BMT it helped alot in the 5th week.

don't remember it being too expensive when i went to the one in athens... rented a 9mm glock and shot for about 45 minutes, was only like $16-$20 as far as i remember. then again i wasn't wailing away bullets ghetto style either.

Julio

Is not expensive at all. And Ammo is between $10 bucks and up just depending wich you get. (case size)

So is not really expensive.

how many off you actually own a gun (licensed or not) on this site, im just intrested in finding out?

Julio

I do.

I own... a couple.

Shooting isnt expensive at all. Usually the rule is that you have to buy ammunition from the spot that you are at, biggest expense. Like Erin said, as long as you arent trying to do SWAT simulations, you should be fine. Hell, bullseye in Lawrenceville has $5 handgun rental and they have some pretty decent guns for rent. Also the staff is extremely friendly.

I had fun at the range.....I thought I did pretty good for shooting a gun for the first time. I can't wait to go again.
