SAAB Update...

for those of you that care to know. here is an update:

(for those who dont know) My saab 9-3 overheated last week and wouldn't crank afterward. Not only that but when it finally turned over it wouldn't stay running. It had a leak as well which caused the overheating problem.

now on to the update...

First place looked at it without completely taking the engine out, and said the problem A was the water pump which was shot, and B the headgasket was done.

Second place where my car is now and where its getting fixed. The motor is done...new motor will be going in shortly and it will be as good as new.

damage done...$3,500. Damn

nah not that bad since they will be dropping a new engine with possibly a newer turbo, new water pump, then fixing my brakes and a couple other little things. i guess bosnians helping bosnians lol

glad to hear you getting everything sorted out. Which motor are you getting installed?

i am hoping they dont know what they are doing and put the 207R in either way id still be happy with my 207L.
