Just bought a car

I bought a car july14 and sold my car today, while this week I did not drive the new one.
Wonder, is that ok to drive the one I've bought last week without tag?

Have insurance changed on that car already, not transferred the tag yet.

30 days. I have been stopped by a cop, i showed him bill of sale + title, he said thanks and let me go. Not sure exactly what the law says though.

Thats correct; 30 days from the date you bought your car you can drive it when necessary and then after the 30 days...Reason for this is, it takes time to get your registration processed so you can get your tag later. Never drive without insurance..you might think you'll never get into a accident but trust me; people will run into you without knowing.

yeah 30 days, I brought a civic and was stop the same day. Showed him the bill of sale and the title, and asked me if i got insurance on it. He let me go with a warning.
