Well an official del Sol meet is one of those things that I know all us solers would love to have, but it's just hard to make it happen. There aren't too many of us so it is really important that we all stick it out and MAKE THIS ONE HAPPEN!! Tell every soler you know and post this on every other import forum your on! If anyone has any qualms about the date or time or local let me know and it can be adjusted, but I don't want to change too much stuff once it gets to be closer to the first scheduled date of the 16th.

its the 2006+ Lexus Smoky Granite Mica, at night its black, and during the day it is a dark dark grey until the sun hits it and then you see flakes of metallic red, gold and purple. It is like a frikin mirror... here is another pic to show you what im talking about, this is the driver fender after being polished. just so you know im only revealing this to you solers. im trying to keep it on the down low until i get everything done.

welcome! it would be great to have you out at this meet, we want all the sols we can get. that sounds to me like a standard SI model with the d16z6. if you want a break down of what you really have, post your VIN # or answer a few questions about it. -what year was it made? does it have rear disc brakes? what is redline on your tachometer (rpm Gauge)? what is the original exterior color? does it have a square red light on the back, between the tail lights (its called a mist light)?

Yes it's a 95 Vtec, original color is black, interior is a little faded(seats) but they are black with red stripe. The stamp on the block(can't really see in the pic) D16Z6. Interior is clean, one small tear in the driver seat(on the hip) Top Dose not leak, all panels have rash.. bumps, dents, scrapes. I guess the good thing is, I have cash..so i can get her looking good! I wanted to post the pics in the text ,not sure how to do that yet..

^^^ yes, do NOT convert your front end! if i were you, i would fix your busted mirror, and find a new set of STOCK OEM tail lights, please no euro pos tails. also lower it just a bit, but dont cut your springs. that is ghetto. do not just put a muffler on that car either. but other than that.. you just need some wheels, good tires and some body work with some fresh paint and your good to go.

@ronin - please DONT do a civic front end conversion haha. and btw your sol is not a VTEC model, its an Si. Its confusing, because Si's have a SOHC VTEC motor, but the VTEC trim level is the DOHC B16 model :goodjob:

go on ebay and order you some new one piece headlights with fogs, like $185 shipped (clear, black or smoked housing)

ebay has 2 styles for your del sol, mugen and type r, they are around $70 shipped and are flat black and look fine with or without paint.

window tint always improves the look of a car, 35% is the legal tint, but go 15-20 % just because it looks better.

just keep up the work man, it will come together soon enough!

I found some Konig Heliums, bronze, with nito tires... i think i like them..$400.00 so they are not expensive. well, until you go to the V try and use 285. On the way home from Kennesaw one day I traveled 2 miles on 75/85 and it took me 2 hours! I turned around and went all the way north to 285 and came all the way back down around to get to the southside. This construction is killer! LS2_kid can vouch, I met him in traffic that day.
