so me and dirty mech met up with one of our fellow rc'ers and hit the dirt... mine's the black truck which is a traxxas stampede vxl (brushless with lipo battery) and the other smaller truck is my buddy eric with his traxxas rustler vxl. this was teh last run before i fried the speed control. i have to send that out tomorrow...

how long do the batteries last on those things.

the lithium polymer (lipo) batteries last between 30 minutes to an hour and a half depending on what capacity (measured in milliamps (mAH)) you get. the 5000 mah lasts between 30-45 minutes based on your gearing setup.

wow didnt realize they came that far with the battery technology. Hell, last time i have a rc car the battery lasted for 3-5 minutes. Looks fun!
