Ok, I have done photography for a couple years now, but have never tried doing HDR. How do you do it? These photos look great. Reps. :goodjob:

i learned from tutorials found on google. i do recommend using a program called photomatix though for tonemapping instead of photoshop.

last time i really sat down and tonemapped hdr's was in the winter for that one snow day we had. i think ive posted this before, but whatever

Applied carefully, High Dynamic Range-technique (HDR) can create incredibly beautiful pictures which blur our sense of the difference between reality and illusion. In graphics HDR imaging is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes, ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows. This is usually achieved by modifying photos with image processing software for tone-mapping. And the results can be really incredible; in fact, many artists and designers come up with some pretty fancy results.

The link has some incredible pictures. They make me want to sell my cheap camera and buy an expensive high-tech one.

HDR's seem to make flares much more pronounced.

This one is nice. Alot of times people over-do the tone-mapping and it looks weird.

This picture does not look like an HDR. The pink was done with lighting, you can tell because the color is burnt/overexposed at the bottom of the bridge. It was probaly a color gelled strobe or spotlight from the ground in front of the pilars.

I am better at using layers in photoshop than letting a program create an HDR image.

This picture is very well taken.

I'm going to take a few pictures today and see what I can come up with.

Well I said I was going to take a few shots and see what I could do. Here is my attempt at HDR(if you can even call it that). :D I used a simple camera and photoscape.

Took this one from my sister's sunroof.
