Why is IA so slow? *CRAZY JDM THEORY INSIDE* Will be repped with b00bies if possible

So IA is slow now a day's its a well known fact. Not talking how fast the servers are and what not, but how many users long on per day, how many posts are made per day, and other general traffic stats. So I got to thinking why this is so?

I came up with the idea that in these hard times with our struggling economy, users are just worn out from the raised levels of stress this economy is putting on them, and don't want to be stuck on the computer in their free time. It could be stress in the form of worrying about their finances, the insecurity of their job, wasting electricity by being on the PC (extreme), having to work a 2nd or 3rd job, or even hating IA cause its hooked you up with all these awesome shops and connections and your car gets really bad gas mileage now ( :lmfao: ). But you get the picture?

If this holds true, think about it! Its showing how bad times have gotten, how the quality of life has been overall reduced by the tough economy. All this just by looking at a simple statistics that measure the usage of IA (LOL).


With that said I will put up a poll with a bunch of options and multiple choices. Pick what applies to you and lets prove me to be an odd ball philosopher or just crazy.

um, excuse you. i was replying to psycho. not you! and i did notice that the week i was gone that the server was slower than usual! i personally think that ia is slow because the server keeps going down. why would a new member want to be a part of a forum that goes down every now and then? while IA is down, they probably go look for a new forum to be a part of.

i don't think it has anything to do with the economy. maybe people just don't have time to be on anymore. i have nothing else to do, so i'm on. it's a way of entertainment for me. what does your political persuasion have anything to do with being on IA for this amount of time or what?

i do make stupid posts and i do get banned for them. shows how much you know. just because i make stupid posts doesn't mean i'm stupid. i'm just bull****ting around over half the time i'm on here.

didnt read the thread but i did vote, republican and the rule change, ever since the censorship posting in the wl has plummeted, and since the bans, maniac was a key to the drama and that what kept people coming back. not maniac but drama. everyone is thinking they are making **** better by the bans and censorship, for the sponsors. but with less people clicking the site that means less people clicking the sponsors. thats my opinion though. i could be wrong its just how i precept it.
