Alright, as some of you may well know, the colors of the sunrise and sun set, as well as the sun during that time is caused by the light diffusing throughout the pollution that is in the air. If you didn't know that, well, now you do. Anyways, I was just thinking here randomly what a sunset was like before the Industrial Revolution

probably not a whole lot different...not to mention i'm sure there are places on earth where you'd still be able to see a "better/cleaner" sunset than around here (or any other major metropolis for that matter).

The way I remember viewing the sun before the the InRev (that's what we used to call the Industrial Revolution back then) was it was a gorgeous shade orange. It kind of reminded me of an orange spliced with a lemon. The sun in space is a fiery red mass. The atmosphere, even a clean one, will distort the light as well. We used to gather around Newquay in Britain and watch the sun set across the Atlantic. When the light would get low enough, it would reflect off the ocean and give off a an array of purple-esque hues. Lolol. I remember one time when O'Connell (he was a Scottish friend of mine who mnoved to Britain to escape Protestant prosecution) ) and I would stroll up there and wonder what the world would be like in the year 2000. He got caught and was hung the very next day. Oh well. Sucked for him because I'm still here. But that's pretty much it. Later, QD.
