so this time around, i'm trying my damndest to keep my foot out of the throttle unless absolutely nessessary, and with about 50/50 city/hwy driving i'm sitting at about 18.2 mpg's... not bad for a heavy ass car with a big v8! :D

lol, its hard, ive seen above 17 for a few days, i usually hover around 16.2-16.6...going on a few road trips over the next few months though so ill get to see what it looks like on the highway

commerce is the furthest the car has seen highway wise and i saw 20-21avg...hopefully traveling a little further will yield higher #'s

Weird... my "avg" shows 22 on my gauges but manual calculations about 2 months ago showed 24 across the entire tank.

Maybe you need teh re tune.

hell the airplane i fly uses just over 11 gallons of fuel an hour. and its not 93 octane crap, it takes 100ll that cost over 5 bucks a gallon.

Try out www.cleanmpg.com

Whenever the server isn't bombarded, it has some great tips and tricks to up your MPG. Mostly common things people just don't do that can up your MPG.

There is a guy at CleanMPG getting 150MPG in his Honda Insight. Wish I could do that.

I have an 8 gallon tank, and I refilled it 356 miles on the TRIP METER. I had a lil more gas in the tank, but didn't wannt push it. So I'm almost 50mpg. (77 Honda Civic)

I live off of I-38 in the Fountain Crest subdivision. They have meets but I have never been to one yet.

yea thats about the same for me. My tuner said when I replace the rear o2 sensor I'll see 3 or 4 more mpg's.
