my buddy only got back 300 and is wondering why, what are the qualifications.

I thought you were supposed to get 300? like 300 + 300 for each dependant or something? Are his parents claiming him as a dependant still? That's why I didn't get one.

he is 25 and my step uncle who lives with us and he made under 52k, his brother who works at the same place and gets paid the same got 600, he hasnt cashed the check cause he is wondering what the hell is going on.

The check is based upon your taxes. It is not a flat rate IIRC. I believe it was switched to ensure people pay their taxes and for accountability purposes of the Stimulus Checks.

Might wanna research this, just what I remember.

Unless you make over $75,000. The more that you make over that, the less of a rebate that you will get until you finally get nothing.

you have to make over a certain amount to make the full 600 back on your stimulus check.. i am going to be recieving 300 back also.

look at it this way he will only have to pay taxes on the 300 and not the 600 most single people got ;)
