95 turbo gsr running a civic half size. its a single core, but its twice as thick as stock. anyway, when i was going to bleed the system the other day, i took the cap off; started the car and waited. the fan came on and all, but i never saw any coolant get sucked in or move. it just sat there. shouldnt i see the coolant moving? oh and the highest i let it get was half way and i turned the heat on and it dropped back to 1/4 of the way.

it started getting hot on the way home tonight, so right when i got home, i popped the hood and went out to check it out. the radiator and radiator cap was not even hot!! it was luke warm at best, but the upper radiator hose had a ton of pressure on it. thermo failing in closed position?

ill run him from a roll tonight if he wants. anyway, back to the cooling problem. i swapped the thermostat today and tried to bleed the coolant system, but no coolant ever gets pulled through the radiator.

did you try leaving the thermostat out? I went through three thremostats and they were all bad. Left the thermo out and problem solved.. til the fourth one comes in!
