Im not tring to take anything away from the ZR1. Its an awesome car but when its said and done its a racecar with a tag. The GTR is just under 500 pounds heavier and down 200 HP. At the doctors today I read the Car and driver that compared it to the Z06 and Porsche 911 turbo. It took the cake overall hands down. Just some food for the thought on you GTR haters.

im not gonna name names but i know of a few people on here that were interested in the gtr. None have pulled the trigger yet but i figured at least one person on here has one coming but i guess not.

I agree about the bench racing but this topic hasn't changed in months and months and after points are proven or dis proven, they come up again and it gets annoying reading the same stuff and mostly same excuses.

Let's compare apple to apples (pricewise), it's MSRP vs MSRP.

Like others posted here that there are bunch of people paying MSRP for the GT-R.

ZR1 isn't out yet, so you can't say that they'd sell at MSRP.

It's all depending on how bad you want it and how rare they are at that location, just like gaming systems, Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, etc. Can't really factor in the markups.

Call me a fanboy all you like, I have owned a 2 vette's, they were decent cars except the C5's motor problems (got replaced twice at dealer) and the C4's lack of performance. Since I own a Motorex R33 GT-R now I would think of myself more of a potential buyer than a fan boy.
