A Saudi youth got 10 tickets for breaking the speed limit during a 10-hour trip from Jeddah to Kassim in western Saudi Arabia.
Saudi daily al-Watan said Saturday the youth who got a ticket per hour is planning to contact the Guinness Book of Records authority to see if he can register his achievement.
He said he was speeding to make it on time for an important appointment in Kassim, but he was delayed due to consecutive stops by policemen to issue the tickets.
His father, who accompanied him with his mother, said he will not help his son pay for the tickets because he has warned him several times not to speed.
For her part, his mother said she will not ride with her son again.
