I hear a shotgun blast out on the highway. The next thing I know, I'm looking around and in my mirror, I see sparks flying all out the back of the truck and I immediately pull over. Lost the whole retread and everything. Blew this hole right in the tread of the tire. Shiit was loud as hail, lolol. And I'm going about 65 mph. Later, QD.

damn dude, that sucks. roadside assistance ftw. good thing you were able to pull over w/no problems. That is the exact reason I try not to ride beside semi trucks. Im pretty sure the pressure can shatter the window in the car riding beside the tire.

seen it happen and had to avoid that crap flying at me a few times. it is scarier from behind than it is from the cab

What about the other story?

I hear a shotgun blast out on the highway. The next thing I know, I'm looking around and in my mirror, I see sparks flying all out the back of a truck and BAMMM a retread smacked my car and everything. I wanted to Blow this hole right in the head of that fkin truck driver. Shiit was loud as hail too, scuffed up my whole passenger side :2up: Later, RMBQD.

You spelled "one" wrong. :ninja:

We just had some1 drive by the shop yesterday and have a massive blow out. The noise is confusing at first.

ive been in the cab when that has happened before, and i have to agree with QD, being inside is worse than outside, especially when you have to pull over and then it make you late for your delivery.

My defensive driving course instructor was a truck driver for 38 years on the road he said, he was telling us hes never in his life had a speeding ticket but the only times hes ever been in an accident was when people where trying to pass him as he was going on the off ramp. Have you ever had any serious accident's with your 18wheeler QD?

quickdodge®
07-09-2008, 10:21 AM
No sir, I haven't. I've had one ticket. In South Carolina for not wearing my seat belt. Later, QD.

Whats so awesome about not wearing your seatbelt?

quickdodge®
07-09-2008, 05:20 PM
Yeah, I had just gotten in the truck from a rest stop last year and had forgotten to put my belt back on and got spotted by DOT. Luckily it was only a $20 ticket and no points. Later, QD.
