I will say it again and will ALWAYS stand behind my logic....

The reason why I dislike Rota, Drag (replicate of Rotas), Sportfag/XXR, etc. so much is the fact that their marketing strategy is simply taking a popular wheel and copying it via Chinese manufacturing using cheaper materials. If it wasn't for Volk, Work, HRE, CCW, etc to generate new wheel designs, Rota wouldn't be such a large company like they are today. I'm not saying that Rota wheels are ugly as I can admit that they have a couple models in their lineup that are actually decent looking. It is these type of companies that are forcing the big dawgs such as HKS, Greddy, etc to close doors. They spend millions of dollars in R&D and then you have these half ass companies that simply steal the design (they can sell them for less due to lesser quality material, manufacturing process and no expense on R&D). If I were in the big dawg shoes, I wouldn't have any incentive to keep spending bookoos of money on R&D and keep pushing the envelope knowing that all the cheap asses aren't willing to pay for a QUALITY product that actually performs, I'm not just talking about wheels but products as a whole. I don't give two shits what Dave says. Everyone will think differently about the situation but I will always continue to support the OG's, if you will, by spending the extra coin and buying their goods. That is what separates the men that have been in the scene for some time from the posers that joined simply because they thought F&F was super fucking cool.

Since I'm already on a rant, I might as well bitch about all these faggots that think using colored zip ties on their lip looks cool...sorry but it doesn't. Just because you went out and bought a dslr doesn't make you a photographer nor are your driveway "photoshoots" worth posting. 15x8 et0 on a Civic looks like shit, period. It looks hella gay, just like your nut tucking jeans.

It all comes down to companies not getting design patents and companies persistant enough to keep up on it. When BBS filed for bankruptcy and let their design patents slip, Copys were made. There are plenty of good ones out there too. Most wheel companies will release a wheel at SEMA (November) and there will be copies for sale in 60 days if they dont apply for a Design Pantent.

Nah... The 09 STI shortblock WAS gonna be my next purchase then the heads and finish up by buying the remainder of the little stuff. That was until I spoke to grimmspeed today thanking them for my free IWG bracket for my turbo. lol Trading 3 exhasut manifolds for a set of ported and coated TGV's. I think dad might be picking up a set of TGV deletes as well.

No idea. I have that Jetta, but we haven't even begun working on it. The TDI motor we're putting in has a whopping 105hp, so the performance aspect of that car won't keep me happy. 50+ mpg will be nice though.

OE for the catalysts. The precious metals in them are far better than what you'll find in an aftermarket unit. They cost more but will last a lot longer. If you don't care about having to replace it every couple of years then settle for an aftermarket one.

damn factory Subaru MAP sensors... Peaked it out at 22.64psi last night. The gauge read 23.6psi. I lowered boost a smidge and logged 22.5 in third, peaked at 22.64 again in fourth but read 23.3 on the gauge. FML.....

You're missing the point entirely, but I'm far too exhausted to get into an Apple vs. the world argument. The iPhone 4 does not by any means suck, the iPhone overall is the most successful phone to date and in many ways is superior to what's on the market; the new model has some great new features and just makes an already great product even better. Apple is the Mercedes of consumer technology, if you want to know where the world will be in 10 years, you watch what those companies are doing. You know where I stand and why I but Apple products.

It's not that we're buying the 4S because the now older 4 is a POS or anything. My sole reason and I do this with everything I buy, if there is a higher trim level available, I have to have it. Do I necessarily need it, no but I've always been that way and will continue to do so. I bought the Samsung Infuse simply to test out the Droid OS and quite frankly was disappointed. Here is where the iOS shined:

- screen clarity. The retina is far cleaner and more crisp than their OLED display.
- available apps. The Droid severely lacked in apps that I use on a daily basis.
- battery life. I couldn't make it a full day on the Infuse if I used it heavily. IPhone will get me through the entire day plus some.
- customer service. Even though I didn't own the Infuse long to have to call their CS, Apple has ALWAYS taken care of me with not if/ands or buts.

For those that hate Apple...just remember that had Apple not introduced the touch screen, your Droid devices wouldn't exist. They introduced the iPod which revolutionized the world of MP3's. Guess what Microsoft announced the other day...the Juke is being discontinued. HP tried to compete in the tablet market, failure. Apple innovates the way we use technology today and others will try to replicate but never duplicate.

I did AT&T last year as well I believe, server still crashed though so not much better. This year AT&T was giving errors that some iphone accounts couldn't be upgraded to the 4s online, mine was one of them. Their site was much less prepared for the bandwidth anyway.

12.6's at 106-107 with 1.7 sixty foots. Nothing spectacular, although I did manage to kill a few mustangs that were dedicated track cars and trailered in (gutted caged slicks and skinnies). Apparently my father overheard one of the mustang driver's friends telling him "I can't believe you got beat by a SUBARU!!!" LMAO!!!!!!
On the way home a fuse in the engine bay deteriorated and caused the car not to start or have any electrical power. So at 12AM 5 of us piled into Garfield's car, drove from Thomaston to sharpsburg (doing a ricer flyby to a 2g eclipse that wanted to run), then to peachtree city and then tommy took me home, we pirated a fuse from the Faggin Wagon, went back to thomaston, thought the big group of black guys wanted to rape us, and then went home, I got into bed around 4. Like I said, nothing spectacular. lol
