On the fifth floor of the apartment house at 203 West 130th street lives Miss Mable Godfrey. When she came to the house about seven months ago she brought Blackie, a cat of several years' experience of life.

The cat seldom left the apartment. He was a hearth cat, not a fence cat, and did not dearly love to sing. In other respects he was normal and hence curious.

Last Tuesday afternoon when Miss Godfrey was out Blackie skipped into the grate fireplace in a rear room. He had done this many times before. But he had not climbed up the flue to the chimney. This he did Tuesday. Blackie there remained, perched on the top of the screen separating the apartment flue from the main chimney, crying for assistance. Miss Godfrey, returning, tried to induce her pet to come down. If you are experienced in felinity, you know that Blackie didn't come down.

On Wednesday the cat, curiosity unsatisfied, tried to climb higher—and fell to the first floor. His cries could still be heard by Miss Godfrey; who, to effect Blackie's rescue, communicated with the following departments:
1. Police department.
2. Fire department.
3. Health department.
4. Building department.
5. Washington Heights court.

Among them they lowered a rope to Blackie. But it availed neither the cat nor them anything.
Thursday morning, just before noon, a plumber opened the rear wall back of the chimney. Blackie was taken out. His fall had injured his back. Ten minutes later Blackie died.

Divider tabs are for noobs, One single spiral bound notebook that holds all papers for every class FTW. In one semester, Id maybe go through 1 and a half notebooks with notes. The trick is to date all your pages in the notebook. Ahh thank god for being graduated.

Personally, I like the EVO 9's better than the STi. I love my STi. But, I bought it because I wanted a new car and hated the EVO 10. The low end STi grunt is nice, but low end grunt ends quickly. An EVO9 with some bolt ons and and STi with the same bolt ons are to entireley different beasts. The M3 will be replaced soon, one of the contenders is an EVO9.

id agree. it takes alot of work to keep these subies on full boil whereas the evo tends to have a more linear powerband. its all a byproduct of the poor exhaust design mainly: too big of a turbo and u lose spool big time! too small of a turbo and it runs out of steam on the top end.

Old bolt extracted ... New bolt in possession... Have to figure out if the cruise control will work with my k&n or if the k&n can be modified further or if I have to swap back to factory... To get my k&n to work in the first place we had to modify the original bolt...

The S54 is a solid motor. In fact, there are many 600+whp setups utilizing stock internals. You bought a car that has passed many hands therefore you cant confirm who did what. The fact that you were also having issues with the original ECU doesn't help in terms of the tune and what you were trying to do with it.

I know, I know. German vs Japanese. I even told the salesman that I'll be kicking myself in the ass for going German again, and he laughed and actually agreed. Normally they go the "I don't know, these cars are pretty reliable" route, but he was pretty straight up lol

To be honest, the Miata was a dumb purchase for me, as well. I should've thought about what I wanted instead of what everyone else wanted for me. That was my biggest mistake, but the only thing I can do now is take it as a learning experience.

There is a red one with gold stripes sitting on HRE wheels that is often found at RA. That one made me really like the looks of the car and to this day, my favorite one I've come across. If I were to buy one, it would need to be the new ACR. It recently regained the title of the fastest time around the 'ring; 7:12.

I looked through out the nation for a white Forest XT Sport with a manual transmission in white but there were zero. All the ones I found were WRB which I do not want. I would buy one today if I found one though.

There is a reason why you NEVER see anyone talk **** about cheap wheels at track days, autocrosses, timed hot lap events.

That is because people who actually race their car, people who actually know about going fast, know that the only thing that matters is "does it work well" And they do.

Shall I dig up the failed BBS and Volk pics again? They always seem to shut guys like you up. I wish I had taken pics of the upside down manhole cover I hit with the rotas on my WRX back in the day. HUGE bracing on the bottom of it. The wheel suffered ZERO damage.

I will say it again and will ALWAYS stand behind my logic....

The reason why I dislike Rota, Drag (replicate of Rotas), Sportfag/XXR, etc. so much is the fact that their marketing strategy is simply taking a popular wheel and copying it via Chinese manufacturing using cheaper materials. If it wasn't for Volk, Work, HRE, CCW, etc to generate new wheel designs, Rota wouldn't be such a large company like they are today. I'm not saying that Rota wheels are ugly as I can admit that they have a couple models in their lineup that are actually decent looking. It is these type of companies that are forcing the big dawgs such as HKS, Greddy, etc to close doors. They spend millions of dollars in R&D and then you have these half ass companies that simply steal the design (they can sell them for less due to lesser quality material, manufacturing process and no expense on R&D). If I were in the big dawg shoes, I wouldn't have any incentive to keep spending bookoos of money on R&D and keep pushing the envelope knowing that all the cheap asses aren't willing to pay for a QUALITY product that actually performs, I'm not just talking about wheels but products as a whole. I don't give two shits what Dave says. Everyone will think differently about the situation but I will always continue to support the OG's, if you will, by spending the extra coin and buying their goods. That is what separates the men that have been in the scene for some time from the posers that joined simply because they thought F&F was super fucking cool.

Since I'm already on a rant, I might as well bitch about all these faggots that think using colored zip ties on their lip looks cool...sorry but it doesn't. Just because you went out and bought a dslr doesn't make you a photographer nor are your driveway "photoshoots" worth posting. 15x8 et0 on a Civic looks like shit, period.
